Firmware upgrade for PSA220 and PSA250

Why do I need to upgrade?
=========================
- This Software upgrade installer has been enhanced and now applicable to both firmware V2.5 & firmware V2.6 users.
- If your player currently has FW v2.9d and you are using Musicmatch 9.0, disregard the upgrade as there is no benefit to you. 
- This upgrade allows your player to play secure WMA music files purchased from online music services (please check music playing rights with your music provider)
- It will also remove Digital Media Manager and upgrade the Musicmatch Jukebox version you may be running today to offer you enhanced music experience

What does this upgrade include?

- This upgrade patch includes: Musicmatch Jukebox (your music management software), Device Manager (utilities for upgrading / restoring your jukebox) and the firmware files for your player to work with them.

How can I check the version number of my firmware?
===================================================
-	This information is available from your device. 
o	Scroll down to Settings
o	Press >
o	Scroll down to Factory Settings
o	Press and hold the > key on your player for 2 seconds. 	
	

IMPORTANT:
==========
Please make sure that your PC is running on one of the following operating systems
- Windows 98SE & ME
- Windows 2000 SP4 (or above)

How do I upgrade?
=================

1. If you have Digital Media Manager installed in your computer, uninstall the software by clicking Start and select Programs > Nike + Philips DMM > Uninstall DMM. 
2. Ensure your battery is fully charged by using the AC Adaptor supplied with your unit. 
3. Click ¡§Download Firmware Upgrade Software¡¨ or "PC Software" to download the English zip file.  Unzip the SW Upgrade file to a temporary directory on your computer.
4. Run the .exe file. Note that this will uninstall any earlier version of PHILIPS Digital Media Manager and / or Musicmatch Jukebox and install the latest Musicmatch Jukebox and Device Manager named ¡§Nike+Philips PSA220 (or 250)¡¨.
5. Follow screen instructions to complete relevant installations

Note: If you previously had Philips Digital Media Manager (DMM), it will add Musicmatch Jukebox to your PC. Use Musicmatch Jukebox in place of your DMM program.

6.When installation completes, please launch "Nike + Philips PSA220 (or PSA250)" from your desktop / Start.  
  Click the UPGRADE button to upgrade the firmware of your jukebox.  
7.You will be prompted to disconnect your device from your computer 
  as soon as Device Manager finishes interacting with your device.  Safely unplug your player.  
8.Once the USB cable is disconnected, firmware upgrade will start automatically.  
  The process is complete when the device restarts and displays the power up splash screen.


- WindowsXP and Windows2000 users: Your device will be automatically disconnected as soon as Device Manager finishes interacting with your device.

- The functionality you have experience before using Digital Media Manager has been replaced by Musicmatch Jukebox. You should therefore not reinstall Digital Music Manager after your upgrade.
