Firmware update for Digital Voice Tracer 600/620

UPDATE PROCEDURE:
To update to the latest firmware version of your Digital Voice Tracer follow these steps:

   1. Connect the Digital Voice Tracer with the supplied USB cable to your PC.
   2. Download the firmware file and save it in the root directory of the Digital Voice Tracer.
   3. When the file has been copied disconnect the device from the USB plug.
   4. Press the MENU button while the Digital Voice Tracer is stopped to open the menu.
   5. Press the BACK button to select 'UPDATE'. 
   6. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button. 'N' (No) is displayed.
   7. Press the BACK button to select 'Y' (Yes).
   8. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button again to install the new firmware. 



IMPORTANT: In case you update from Version 1.0 you need to do the update - above procedure - TWO (2) times.

To view the firmware version follow these steps:

   1. Press the MENU button while the Digital Voice Tracer is stopped to open the menu. 
   2. Press the BACK button to select 'VER'.
   3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button. The firmware version is displayed.
   4. Press the MENU button twice to exit the menu.
